National Emergency Medical Services Week

The week of May 19-25, 2013 is National Emergency Medical Services Week. EMS Week is a national event dedicated to honor the men and woman who provide Emergency Medical Services throughout the nation. EMS provides offer out-of-hospital medical care to those who become sick or injured.

In Westchester County the Westchester Regional EMS Council honors those individuals and agencies that went above and beyond their normal duties in servicing their communities and those who are stricken with a sudden injury or illness.

The award recipients will be honored during the Annual EMS Awards reception being held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Sleepy Hollow High School.

Please join us in congratulating all the individuals and agencies that support the EMS system in Westchester along with those who are receiving special recognitions.
