NY State Office of Fire Prevention and Control
PFPC provides fire training and technical assistance to localities. It assists in the stabilization of hazardous materials spills and in the development of mutual aid programs. The office administers the State Fire Mobilization and Mutual Aid Plan and the Emergency Services Revolving Loan Program. It also collects, compiles, and disseminates information relating to fire and arson prevention and control, operates the State Information Management System, implements the wireless 911 initiative, and is developing low ignition cigarette standards.
NY State Association of Fire Chiefs
NYSAFC provides information to emergency services personnel regarding administration, education, research, firefighting, training, public relations, fire protection, equipment, personnel, and legislation.
Westchester Volunteer Fireman's Association
The association promotes friendly relations and fellowship among its members and works for training and legislation for volunteer firemen.
